Our Technology Ecosystem
We implement and operate open source platforms in production, while selection follows your goals, not vendor quotas.

Tailored Solutions for On-Prem Infrastructure
IaaS Cloud Design, Build & Operate
Design, deploy and operate core compute, storage, and network environments, built on resilient topologies, automated provisioning, and full lifecycle management for consistent, high-performance operations.

Data Storage Foundations
Build and operate scalable storage systems optimised for reliability and performance, including object, block, and file tiers, all integrated with backup, replication, and disaster recovery workflows and efficiency.

Platform Modernization
Migrate from legacy virtualization or orchestration platforms to modern, open solutions that improve performance, reduce licensing costs, and prepare your environment for future growth and portability.

Sovereignty by Design
We design, build and operate infrastructure that preserves control, compliance, and interoperability, embedding data governance and independence into every layer of your architecture.

From Shell Prompts to Strategy

Our story begins in the early days of open-source infrastructure, when Linux servers powered the first generation of ISPs, and managed hosting was built through persistence and ingenuity rather than platforms and APIs. From those roots, we grew through the evolution of data centres, virtualisation, and cloud computing, designing and operating systems for ISPs and hosting providers, cable operators, and enterprises that needed reliability before it became a buzzword.
Over the years, that technical foundation expanded into architecture, product design, and financial strategy, bridging how technology is built with how it sustains itself. We’ve led modernisation projects, helped shape managed service practices, advised system integrators and cloud providers, and supported organisations navigating complex transitions from legacy infrastructure to open, automated, and transparent platforms.

Integrated with Proven Infrastructure Technologies
Bolex designs and operates platforms that connect seamlessly with established data-center and network ecosystems. Our experience spans compute, storage, and networking technologies including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, NetApp, Supermicro, and HPE, as well as core protocols such as NFS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, VXLAN, and EVPN.
We deliver architectures that combine open innovation with enterprise-grade performance, security, and interoperability, whether built on modern open-source platforms or existing vendor investments.
Legacy Platforms We Modernize
We transition legacy virtualisation and orchestration stacks to open, sustainable architectures. Our experience includes VMware vSphere and vCloud Director, OnApp, Hyper-V, Parallels, and proprietary control panels, all modernized with minimal downtime and lasting cost efficiency.
